At this point, it has been well-established that Real Madrid are set to re-sign Nico Paz from Como 1907 in the summer this year.
The 21-year-old Argentine creative midfielder left Los Blancos in the summer of 2024 and has excelled in his time in Italy, becoming the centrepiece of Cesc Fabregas’ team.
Given his progression in the past 18 months, Real Madrid are very happy and plan on re-signing him in the summer, utilising their buyback clause which stands at around €9-10 million but can be renegotiated between the two clubs.
Reporting on the situation, Matteo Moretto claims that Nico Paz is very happy and excited about his impending return to Real Madrid later this year.
The playmaker after all never really got a shot at claiming a spot in the first-team setup at the club despite making an impression in the limited chances he got.
Nico left the Santiago Bernabeu having played only eight times for the senior team, even scoring a goal. Now, having grown as a player, he will return in the summer, hoping to establish himself as a key member of the squad.

During his time at Como since leaving Madrid, the attacking midfielder has racked up 12 goals and 15 assists from just 52 games, taking his game to the next level.
Real Madrid, for their part, fully count on Nico for the next season and have no intentions of offloading the Argentine international for a profit after bringing him back to the club.
The Merengues, after all, have lacked that bit of creativity and playmaking quality in their midfield department in the ongoing season.
But with players like Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono also in the squad and plans to bring in Kees Smit in the summer as well, it will be quite interesting to see how Real Madrid fit all these talents into their team.
