AC Milan v Juventus (Saturday, 17:00)

Two underperforming giants of the Italian game meet on Saturday, as AC Milan host Juventus.

Milan were continuing to fluctuate between the sublime and the ridiculous prior to the international break. Having won 3-1 at Real Madrid in the Champions League, they could only draw 3-3 at Cagliari in Serie A. They are currently seventh in the table, already six points behind their opponents Juventus, in sixth.

Juve's position is not what it should be considering that they are the only side in the Italian top flight that are still unbeaten and that they also have the best defensive record in the competition. They have drawn six of their twelve league games (W6), though their last two outings have been victories. Considering the Old Lady's unbeaten record and defensive prowess, back Juventus double chance with under 3.5 goals at 1/1.

Parma v Atalanta (Saturday, 19:45)

Atalanta could finish Saturday on top of Serie A, if they win at Parma.

Their 2-1 win against Udinese before the break, leaves them second in the table, a point behind the leaders Napoli who play on Sunday. It was Atalanta's fifth consecutive win and extended their unbeaten run to ten games (W8 D2).

Parma were also victorious before the international break, but their 2-1 comeback at Venezia ended a run of nine games without a win (D5 L4). It's hard to see anything other than an away victory and an Atalanta win and over 2.5 goals looks big at 6/5.

Como v Fiorentina (Sunday, 14:00)

High-flying Fiorentina will be looking to continue their fine form when they visit Como.

The Viola are unbeaten in eight league games (W7 D1), winning each of the last six. In their last outing Moise Kean scored a hat-trick in a 3-1 win against Verona, to take his goal tally for the season to eleven in 14 appearances, across all competitions.

In contrast to Fiorentina, Cesc Fabregas' Como are without a win in six (D4 L2). Considering the form of the visitors and their striker, a Fiorentina win and Kean to score is generously priced at 13/5.

Napoli v Roma (Sunday, 17:00)

Sunday evening sees the Derby del Sole in which Napoli and Roma are in very different situations.

Napoli are top of Serie A, having drawn 1-1 at Inter in their most recent outing. Roma were beaten 3-2 at home by Bologna, which resulted in Ivan Juric becoming their second manager this season to be sacked. The club have replaced Juric with Claudio Ranieri, who they have tempted out of retirement to take charge of I Giallorossi for the second time in his career.

Ranieri should be able to give his new side a boost, but if you'll excuse the pun, Rome wasn't built in a day. With Roma having scored in each of their last six games, let's go for a Napoli win and both teams to score at 3/1.
