There is a new transfer issue on the horizon at FC Bayern: Michael Olise has been targeted by Real Madrid. And even though there have been no concrete talks so far, there are growing indications that the Whites are seriously interested
It’s no secret that Real Madrid are on the lookout for new attacking stars. According to information from Spain, president Florentino Pérez is already working on the next big transfers – and Michael Olise is said to play a role in this
„That’s true. Real’s interest is there. Pérez is getting the club in the mood again, as things aren’t going so well in the league. He’s promising the fans stars to calm things down,“ emphasises BILD’s head of soccer Christian Falk in his Bayern Insider podcast. According to the report, the Spanish top club is looking closely at the FC Bayern winger. There are no negotiations or talks yet, but developments are becoming increasingly concrete
Particularly piquant: the two clubs meet in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and if Bayern knock Real out of the competition, the pressure on Pérez would increase noticeably
From Munich’s point of view, the starting position is initially relaxed. Olise is still under long-term contract until 2029 and has no release clause, meaning the record champions have full control over the attacking player’s future
Nevertheless, the interest from Madrid should not be underestimated. Real have been pursuing a strategy of signing the best players in the world for years – and Olise has long since played his way into this category with his performances
According to BILD reporter Heiko Niedderer, Olise fits perfectly into the royal club’s target list: „Of course, it would be another Real Madrid classic to get the very best of the best.“

In sporting terms, the attitude at Säbener Straße is clear: Olise is a central part of the future plans. His creativity, his goalscoring ability and his development make him a key player in Vincent Kompany’s system
A sale is therefore not an issue at the moment, even if an offer of over 100 million euros arrives at the Isar in the summer. „I can’t imagine Bayern letting him go. He’s simply too good and important for that,“ says Niedderer
However, as is so often the case in the international transfer business, there is no absolute certainty and even a club like FC Bayern could have second thoughts when it comes to sums above the 150 million mark.
