With the international break all but over, all eyes are now firmly focused on domestic action, starting with a trip to Dens Park on Sunday afternoon to take on Dundee.
The clash against Steven Pressley’s side will be the first of seven fixtures we must negotiate in three different competitions over a two week period, so it’s of vital importance that we get the required result at Dens to give us a confidence booster heading into said fixtures.

Despite the Dark Blues lowly league position, they will still prove a tough nut to crack, and it’s imperative we improve on recent performances if we have any aspirations of earning all three points.
A competent display as well as all three points would set us up nicely for our home clash with Sturm Graz in match day three of the Europa League fixtures, and then what’s undoubtedly our toughest challenge of the season thus far three days later as we take on Hearts at Tynecastle.

Before October is over we face Falkirk at home in the league, then it’s the small matter of a premier sports league semi final showdown with theRangers at Hampden on Sunday 2 November – and one wonders who will be in their dugout for that one?
Celtic then travel to Denmark to take on our old adversaries FC Midtjylland in the Europa League the following Thursday (6 November) then we go into the next international break after entertaining Kilmarnock at Celtic Park on Sunday 9 November.

We want to win all seven fixtures, that’s the target, and an impressive showing and result to boot at Dens Park would set us up nicely for that ambitious but achievable challenge and for that to happen we need to make sure that Celtic Park is rocking for the home matches – the away games and the semi-final at Hampden against theRangers will take care of themselves.
Remember – BACK THE TEAM!
