Cazurreando reports that Sevilla and Real Sociedad are exploring a swap that would send academy left-back Oso to the Basque club, with Tenerife-born full-back Javi López plus cash moving to Nervión.
The manoeuvre would mirror the new coaching staff’s requests. Zona Mixta has reported the free agent arrival of midfielder Jon Guridi, a player trusted by head coach Luis García Plaza for two and a half seasons in Vitoria.
The same applies to Javi López. Under García Plaza at Deportivo Alavés he had his most prominent top-flight spell and best form.
Real Sociedad’s interest is focused on Oso, a 22-year-old left-back regarded as a rising asset at Sevilla. He has a 20 million euros release clause and the club are working to renew his deal.
If completed, the proposed package would bring Javi López and about six million euros to Sevilla, delivering a useful cash boost and a ready-made option on the left, though losing Oso so early may not sit well with every supporter.
