La Liga outfit Sevilla are one of a number of clubs in the running for the signing of Bamba Dieng this summer. This comes amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the attacking third at The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
Dieng, for his part, is considered something of a market opportunity across the continent at present.
The frontman is fresh off a productive campaign in France, giving rise to 16 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions for Lorient.
After failing to reach an agreement on the terms of a contract renewal, however, Dieng will at the end of the month find himself as a free agent.
This situation has given rise to inevitable interest in the Senegalese, ready to make a final call on his future following the conclusion of his country’s campaign at the World Cup.
And as alluded to above, amongst the long list of clubs readying proposals for Dieng are the aforementioned Sevilla.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Sevilla’s sporting management is awaiting some sales, with offers for Rubén Vargas and Akor Adams, and is considering this option (Dieng) which would require improving his salary in France, of one million euros, and some signing bonus.’
