Sevilla vs Girona and Cádiz vs Almería have been postponed due to an orange weather alert across much of Andalucía. The decision came only hours before kick-off.

These are the second and third postponements in professional football on Saturday, after Rayo Vallecano vs Real Oviedo was called off in the morning because the pitch was not fit for a top-flight game. According to Cadena COPE, the fixtures are in principle set for Sunday at 16:15 at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán and 18:30 in Cádiz.

In Andalucía, the suspensions followed instructions from the Junta de Andalucía for safety and civil protection, aiming to avoid interprovincial travel, particularly around the Cádiz versus Almería derby.

The matches had been scheduled for 18:30 and 21:00 on Saturday. They correspond to Jornada 23 of LALIGA EA SPORTS, Sevilla vs Girona, and Jornada 25 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION, Cádiz vs Almería.

New dates and kick-off times will be communicated once determined with the clubs and the relevant authorities.
