Caleta-Car will be available to face Rayo Vallecano this Sunday after the Spanish federation’s disciplinary committee annulled his booking.

According to Diario Vasco, the RFEF panel upheld Real Sociedad’s appeal and voided the Croatian centre-back’s fifth yellow, which would have meant a one-match ban.

The committee found a manifest error in the match report filed by referee Mateo Busquets. After reviewing footage, it ruled the arm use described did not occur, so the caution could not stand.

The incident involved Caleta-Car stepping on Luis Vázquez rather than striking him with an arm. Because the action did not match the report’s description, the yellow card was cancelled.

Earlier, the federation corrected the stated reason for the caution and issued an annex to the report noting a transcription error involving Real Sociedad’s number 16.

The ruling eases Real’s defensive strain, with Matarazzo now able to pair Jon Martín and Caleta-Car. Zubeldia remains sidelined, while Aritz is a doubt with a back knock.
