Sheffield United take on Coventry City at Bramall Lane in what is a huge game for both clubs.
The race for promotion from the Championship is shaping up to be hugely exciting over the next few months, with the top two places and the play-offs up for grabs.
At this stage of the campaign, every game becomes increasingly important, and you often see sides come up against rivals who are also in need of points.
That’s the case at Bramall Lane on Wednesday night, as Sheffield United host leaders Coventry City in what is a huge game for both.
The Blades’ win over rivals Sheffield Wednesday last time out has kept their play-off hopes alive, although with a six-point gap to sixth-placed Wrexham, Chris Wilder’s side know they have little margin for error during the run-in.

Meanwhile, Coventry had a brilliant weekend, as they comfortably beat West Brom, whilst the four sides directly below them in the table all dropped points, so the Sky Blues are now nine points clear in the race for automatic promotion.
Nevertheless, Frank Lampard will know how quickly things can change, and a trip to Yorkshire to take on Sheffield United is undoubtedly a tough game.
The game will be played at Bramall Lane on Wednesday, February 25, with a 19:45 kick-off, and it’s certain to be at near capacity.
For those that can’t go, like all EFL midweek games, this will be broadcast on Sky Sports +.
This is also one of two games, along with Stoke City vs Oxford, that is shown on Sky Sports’ main channels for those with a package. So, it will be found on channel 404, which is Sky Sports +.
If you don’t have Sky, you can purchase a day pass from NOWTV for £14.99, or a monthly membership for £34.99, and that will also give you access to Sky Sports channels.
Finally, both clubs also offer an audio service which can be found via their respective websites.
This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting fixtures in the Championship this week, and it could have major implications on the promotion battle.

Given the quality in their squad, Sheffield United will feel promotion is still possible, but, as outlined above, they need to have a very strong end to the campaign if they are to close that gap.
Therefore, they will surely see this as a must-win, and if they can get three points, it would be the sort of result that could really provide momentum and extra belief to the squad.
Whilst Coventry do have a bit of breathing space at the top, Lampard will want his side to extend their two-game winning run, which has been very welcome considering they were stuttering in 2026 up until that impressive victory against Middlesbrough.
Coventry will arrive at Bramall Lane in high spirits, and this is arguably one of the most difficult challenges they have left during the run-in.
So, if they can defeat the Blades, it would be a statement of intent from the Sky Blues, and it would be another big step towards the Premier League.
