Sheffield Wednesday have landed Murphy Cooper on loan from Queens Park Rangers, as first reported by Football League World.

Sheffield Wednesday have moved quick to deal with Pierce Charles' latest injury setback, bringing Murphy Cooper on loan from fellow Championship club Queens Park Rangers, amid the ongoing struggles at the S6 club.
The QPR stopper has been on loan at Barnsley this season, and appeared in the League One outfit's 4-1 defeat to Liverpool in Monday's FA Cup third round tie in what was his final outing.
Meanwhile, the Owls remain on a negative points tally in the Championship, thanks to the financial chaos overseen by former chairman Dejphon Chansiri.
Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles is injured once more, with a problem suffered to the opposite shoulder he injured earlier in the season, adding to the difficulties that boss Henrik Pedersen is attempting to deal with at Hillsborough.

As exclusively revealed by Football League World, Sheffield Wednesday were set to sign Cooper on loan from QPR, in a move that has now been confirmed, and he made his debut in the 1-0 loss at home to Portsmouth on Saturday.
Ahead of the goalkeeper's move to Hillsborough, FLW asked our Owls fan pundit, Patrick McKenna, how he felt about the transfer, and if the 24-year-old could be a capable replacement for Charles.
McKenna told FLW: "My initial reaction to it is relief. It is vital that we get in a goalkeeper who has experience of playing in senior football, and this is something that he can provide.
"It really would not have been good for the club or good for Logan Stretch to see him thrown into senior football like this. He is only 18, and it would have been to no benefit to anyone for him to have to go in net for a team on -7 points who are losing games every week.
"That would not develop the player, so any player who is willing to come to the club, I'm very glad of that.
"In his time at Barnsley, he (Cooper) seemed to do okay. Obviously, if you're getting in an emergency loan keeper, you're not going to get players at the top of their game or the top-ranked keepers currently playing in the EFL.
"You have to take what you're given, and Murphy Cooper is a perfectly confident keeper, and I think it's vital that we get someone in as soon as possible."

Charles's absence has ensured that Wednesday have encountered yet another blow in their nightmare season that can't end sooner for boss Henrik Pedersen.
However, Cooper is a talented goalkeeper, which was proven by the fact that Barnsley trusted him between the sticks for their FA Cup clash with reigning Premier League champions Liverpool.
Furthermore, the QPR man excelled while on loan with Stevenage in League One last term, maintaining 16 clean sheets in 37 third-tier appearances.
Only Birmingham City's Ryan Allsop, Wrexham's Arthur Okonkwo, and Wigan Athletic's Sam Tickle kept more clean sheets in League One than Cooper last term, although his performances for Barnsley have not been quite as impressive.
Sheffield Wednesday will now hope that the shot-stopper can produce similar performances to his Stevenage days in the Championship, as they vie to add more points on the board to make their finishing tally look a bit more respectable.
