Aged 23, Kraft began her senior career in Germany where she played for Eintracht Frankfurt, before spells in England playing for Lewes and Southampton. After joining English Championship side Southampton in the summer of 2023, Kraft made 14 appearances and scored 1 goal in her first year at the club. Kraft signs for the Reds following a year long loan stint in Aberdeen where she scored 3 goals in 14 games for the SWPL side.

Kraft is capped at senior international level for the Republic of Ireland. After representing Germany at both U15 and U16 level, she switched to the Republic of Ireland, where she played for the U17s, scoring four goals on her debut against Serbia. In 2019 Kraft made her debut for the senior team, when she started against Belgium.

Speaking on her arrival, Kraft said : “I’m really excited to get started and become part of this club. I can’t wait to get going with the squad as I know it will be a successful season and I’m looking forward to showing what I can do in Tolka Park.”

Shelbourne FC Manager Sean Russell said : “We are delighted to have signed Emily. She brings a lot of experience and quality to the team. Emily is a player who plays with high energy and has a real strikers instinct. Her work rate, ability to link play and finish attacks will be a huge asset to the team this season.”

Shelbourne FC Technical Director Luke Byrne said : “Emily is a high calibre player and has gained really high level experience for someone so young. She’s hungry to come to Shelbourne and make a real impact and we’re delighted to secure her signature ahead of a number of other very good clubs. We’re excited to see Emily make a big impact next season.”
