According to SPORT, several Premier League clubs continue to monitor Ronald Araujo’s situation at Barcelona.
The Uruguayan centre-back, who does not wish to leave, has been regaining his best form this season, and in England, his name is often highlighted as one of the most attractive defensive options in Europe.
As such, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are among the clubs said to be following him closely.
In fact, at Anfield, the search for a defensive reinforcement has taken centre stage. With Ibrahima Konate yet to renew his contract, Liverpool view Araujo as a perfect alternative to strengthen their backline.
Speculation in England has even gone as far as suggesting Barça could consider selling him for around €50-60 million.
The reality within the club, however, is very different from what is being written across the channel, as Barcelona are not contemplating the sale of Araujo under any circumstances.

Having already seen Inigo Martinez depart to Saudi Arabia and with Eric Garcia still waiting to renew, the club cannot afford to weaken the heart of its defence.
Araujo remains an untouchable piece for both Hansi Flick and the sporting management.
His contract extension until 2031 underlined the faith Barça place in him, and his recent performances only strengthen that decision.
Under Flick, he has corrected some of the tactical flaws that had occasionally been exposed in past seasons, evolving into one of the most complete defenders in La Liga.
The European opener against Newcastle was a perfect example. In a game where Barcelona had less of the ball, Araujo stood tall as an unbreakable wall, winning duels and commanding the back line.
His leadership is just as important off the pitch. As the first captain whenever Marc-Andre ter Stegen is absent, he sets the tone in the dressing room with commitment and authority.
