Six Frente Orellut members arrested over attack on Almería supporter after play-off match | OneFootball

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, National Police have detained six people in the province of Castellón for their alleged involvement in an assault on a UD Almería supporter after the promotion play-off match between UD Almería and CD Castellón on the ninth of June.

The incident occurred at a venue near the UD Almería Stadium. Several CD Castellón ultras surrounded, intimidated and attacked the fan, who fled towards the stadium and was assisted by police units.

Officers identified the suspected group as Frente Orellut, who had previously caused public disorder. The suspected attacker was among those linked to the group.

The investigation, codenamed Operación Kastali, identified the suspects. After a court appearance, the judge imposed restraining orders keeping them away from Estadio SkyFi Castalia before, during and after any sporting event, and from any stadium where CD Castellón play, whether official or friendly.

CD Castellón had already set out plans to suspend the season tickets of those identified with immediate effect for at least one season, with the option to make the measure permanent. The case was handled by the Brigadas Provinciales de Información de Castellón y Almería, coordinated by the Comisaría General de Información, with support from the Oficina Nacional de Deportes, OND.
