Wrexham 1-1 Norwich City at the Racecourse Ground as the hosts' four-game league winning run ended and they slipped from ninth to 10th in the Championship.

Anis Ben Slimane put the visitors ahead in the ninth minute, sweeping in after Ali Ahmed's work down the right. Sam Smith levelled with a glancing header from Max Cleworth's delivery (24.).

After the restart, the Canaries made a double change and steadied. Vladan Kovacevic needed treatment but continued, and he gathered confidently under pressure as Wrexham chased a winner.

Phil Parkinson's side pushed late, forcing a string of corners, yet the Canaries' back line held firm in a compact block and cleared their lines when it mattered.

Wrexham registered 17 attempts with two on target and had 55.1% of the ball. The Canaries posted seven attempts, three of them on target.

Next, Wrexham host Leicester City in the Championship on Tuesday. The Canaries visit West Bromwich Albion on the same night.
