Noa was the son of supervisory board member Xavier Thévenot. He had played in the youth set-up at Racing Besançon.

Sochaux announced the news on Monday. He was among the victims of the blaze in the Swiss resort during the night of 31 December to one January.

In such circumstances, Sochaux’s players may not feel like football.
