Sofyan Amrabat signs for Ajax on two-season deal

Sofyan Amrabat has joined Ajax for the next two seasons.

According to L'Équipe, the Morocco midfielder, 30, was a free agent after ending his Fenerbahçe contract earlier this week.

Ajax have turned to experience this window, adding Julian Brandt, 30, Marc André ter Stegen, 34, and Daley Blind, 36. Caio Henrique, 28, and Viktor Tsygankov, 28, have also joined.

Amrabat has 78 caps for Morocco. At the World Cup he played 25% of his country's minutes.

After a successful loan at Real Betis, where he made 23 appearances, he will now compete in the Conference League with the Amsterdam club.
