The president of Racing Club Abidjan (RCA), Souleymane Cissé, has officially announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF).

Souleymane Cissé is now an official candidate for the top job at the Ivorian Football Federation in the elections scheduled for next September. Speaking at a press conference, he said: "I am running to bring a fresh vision. Our previous leaders have done their part, but now it's time to raise the bar. Ivorian football is facing many challenges. We will provide solutions by professionalizing the national game."

Cissé is a prominent figure in Ivorian football, and his entry into the race puts him alongside the current president, Idriss Diallo. As the election approaches, it is likely that more candidates will emerge.
