Barcelona may find themselves at the centre of major transfer interest, with one of their brightest talents attracting attention from across Europe.
According to a recent report from Fichajes, Bayern Munich are extremely interested in signing Pau Cubarsi during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The German giants are actively looking to refresh their defensive line and view the young Barcelona centre-back as an ideal candidate to lead that transformation.
It is said that despite already having established names such as Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano, the German club is focused on raising their defensive level by adding fresh, high-quality talent.
Cubarsi fits that profile perfectly. At just 19, he has already shown remarkable maturity, composure, and intelligence on the ball, making him one of the most promising defenders in European football.
It is no surprise, then, that Bayern are not alone in monitoring his situation, as clubs like Arsenal, Manchester City, and Chelsea are also keeping close tabs on his development.

Reports suggest that the level of interest is extremely serious, with recruitment assessments on the player described as exceptional.
Despite this growing interest, though, Barcelona know that the player is not for sale.
The defender is under contract until 2029, and his release clause has been set at a staggering €500 million, effectively making any potential transfer almost impossible under normal circumstances.
The Catalan club has no intention of entertaining offers. In fact, plans are already being put in place to further reinforce Cubarsi’s importance within the squad.
Internally, Barcelona view him as a cornerstone of their long-term project, and there are even discussions about offering him a leadership role, potentially handing him the captaincy in the future.
All this means Barcelona simply have no plans to part ways with the player, meaning that even if Bayern are to come up with an offer, it would be rejected regardless of its magnitude.
