Southampton ‘in advanced talks’ to sign Daniel Peretz from Bayern

Daily Echo reports that Southampton are in advanced negotiations to sign Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz, 25, on a permanent deal, with hopes of completing an agreement this week.

Peretz spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan with the Saints.

He made 26 appearances for Southampton during that campaign.

Although there has been interest from other clubs, he is believed to be keen on remaining at Southampton to aid their push for Premier League promotion.

He joined Bayern Munich from Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2023 for a reported fee of around five million.
