Several different clubs are beginning to show an interest in teenage Italy talent Luca Reggiani, including EFL Championship side Southampton as well as several others in Serie A according to the latest updates.

According to reports from transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, there has been an offer from EFL Championship side Southampton.

The Saints had been on the verge of promotion to the Premier League at the end of the 2025-26 season, but were infamously booted out of the Championship play-off final, which they were favourites to win, and docked four points for spying on opponents during the regular season.

Tonda Eckert’s side have won two of their first three games of the 2026-27 Championship season, but currently find themselves in 18th place on just two points as a result of their deduction. Still, they remain among the top four contenders to earn promotion to the Premier League according to the bookies.

The 18-year-old has already made 12 competitive appearances for the Borussia Dortmund first team, including eight in the Bundesliga and one in the Champions League, and was handed his first cap for the Italy national team under the interim reign of Silvio Baldini back in June.
