Saints have set out a strict process for supporters who wish to transfer tickets for next month’s south coast derby at St Mary’s.

Saints host Portsmouth on Sunday, 11 October, with the Championship match kicking off at midday. According to Daily Echo, tickets for the sold-out fixture will appear in the Southampton FC app by Friday evening, 25 September.

Due to specific eligibility criteria, transfers cannot be completed through the usual app process. Any recipient must have previously held a ticket for a competitive men’s match between the 2020/21 and 2025/26 seasons.

Requests must be emailed to tickets@saintsfc.co.uk by 11.59pm on Tuesday, 6 October, sent from the current ticket holder’s or lead booker’s email address. The email must include the holder’s name, supporter number, email, date of birth, and block, row and seat, plus the recipient’s name, supporter number, email and date of birth.

The club will verify the recipient’s booking history before completing any transfer, and will reject requests that lack information or fail eligibility checks. Supporters are advised to confirm a recipient’s eligibility before applying.

Season ticket holders unable to attend can list their seat on the ticket exchange. If it is purchased, the seller receives credit equal to 1/23 of their season ticket value.
