Southampton beat Leicester City 4-3 on Tuesday in the Championship, climbing from 14th to ninth after a stunning turnaround.

Divine Mukasa opened the scoring in the ninth minute, driving low from range after a Patson Daka lay-off. Daka doubled the Foxes' lead on the break (13.), and Asmir Begovic then tipped away Taylor Harwood-Bellis' header (21.) before Abdul Fatawu whipped in a third (29.).

After the restart, the Saints' half-time changes bit. Ross Stewart volleyed in Léo Scienza's cross (61.) to spark the comeback.

Jack Stephens crashed into the top corner from a second ball (82.) and Ryan Manning glanced in Scienza's corner (86.) to level. With six minutes signalled, Shea Charles steered in the winner in the sixth minute of second half stoppage time from Stewart's pass.

The Saints carried the threat, tallying 16 attempts and winning nine corners. The Foxes managed eight attempts, three on target.

The Foxes stay 21st. Next, the Saints host the Foxes in the FA Cup.
