Southampton have started well in the Championship but likely need one more result this weekend to reinforce it. According to Daily Echo, victory at Wrexham on Saturday at the Racecourse Ground should lift them into the top eight before a three-week international break.

On points from their first seven matches they would be in the automatic places, only behind West Ham on goal difference. Excluding the draw with newly promoted Lincoln, they have outperformed last season's corresponding fixtures.
