Spanish national team head coach Luis de la Fuente has this weekend moved to lavish praise on Barcelona standout Lamine Yamal. This comes fresh off the 19-year-old conjuring up his latest moment of magic in the colours of his country on Saturday evening.
Wide-man Lamine was in from the off once more yesterday, as Spain locked horns with Czechia in a Nations League clash. And en route to an eventual 3-1 triumph for La Roja, the young winger opened the scoring for the third outing in succession.
After a clever exchange of passes with Barcelona teammate Dani Olmo, Lamine dropped his shoulder, before bending a sumptuous left-footed effort into the far top corner.
This kept alive what has been nothing short of a spectacular recent stretch of individual form on the part of the starlet.
Drawn on Lamine’s latest exploits during an exchange with the media in the game’s aftermath, the aforementioned Luis de la Fuente therefore didn’t hesitate in assuring:
”He’s on his way to becoming an absolute football legend. This is my view.”
