Spain forced to cancel final training session before World Cup final | OneFootball

The Spanish national team were on Saturday forced to cancel their planned outdoor training session. This came owing to adverse weather conditions.

Luis de la Fuente’s troops are of course currently in the midst of final preparations for the grandest fixture in all of international football.

After battling their way beyond European rivals France this week, La Roja have set up a World Cup final showdown with reigning champions Argentina.

As alluded to above, however, just 24 hours out from the clash, Spain have seen their preparations interrupted.

As per a report from El Chiringuito TV:

‘A thunderstorm has forced the cancellation of Spain’s final training session before the championship match.’

Instead, Luis de la Fuente and his staff put the country’s stars through an activation session inside Spain’s training facilities in New York.

All of a Spanish persuasion will now be hopeful that these developments do not impact the sharpness of the country’s players for Sunday evening’s highly anticipated final.
