Following the arrivals of Vaz and Malen, Roma’s transfer priority is a central defender.

Massara was already looking for an experienced player to join Mancini, Hermoso, and Ndicka, given the young age of Ghilardi and Ziolkowsi, who were considered undeveloped for major competition.

The Spaniard’s injury has made the arrival of a central defender even more urgent, with Roma identifying Dragusin as the ideal candidate.

The Romanian defender returned from a cruciate ligament injury a few weeks ago and is eager to return to Serie A. Roma immediately pursued him and managed to convince the player.

For several days, Dragusin’s agent has reiterated that the defender only wants Roma and is pushing to leave Tottenham.

Leipzig are also interested in the player, having already reached an agreement with the English club, but not with the defender, who is currently waiting for Roma.

Discussions between the Giallorossi and Tottenham continue, with the English club seeking €20 million or a loan with an obligation to buy on favorable terms.

Meanwhile, as TeamTalk reports, Spurs have begun searching for a possible replacement for Dragusin, identifying Mika Marmol of Las Palmas as the perfect candidate.
