Tottenham Hotspur Women have confirmed that top scorer and captain Bethany England will leave the club this summer.

The striker has spent three and a half years at Tottenham, captaining the side for the past three seasons. She played a pivotal role in helping Spurs reach their first-ever Women’s FA Cup final back in 2024.

The 31-year-old has netted seven goals in the Women’s Super League this season, more than any other Spurs player. England has scored 32 goals in 64 WSL matches during her spell in north London. It make her the club’s all-time leading WSL scorer.

Tottenham Hotspur Women’s Managing Director, Andy Rogers, said: “Bethany’s leadership has shaped a defining era in the history of Tottenham Hotspur Women.
