St Étienne looking at Simon Deli as a defensive option

Ligue 1 side St Étienne are looking at 29-year-old Club Brugge central defender Simon Deli as an option in the final days of the January window, according to our colleagues at Foot Mercato.

Under contract with the Belgian side until June 2022, the Ivorian international has not played a match since 20th December – talks are ongoing over a loan until the end of the current campaign with Ligue 1 side St Étienne.
