The SPFL want to ensure that they maximise their ticket revenue from their Hampden showpiece event and that means clubs outside of the two Glasgow giants will always get staggered allocations depending on sales. This was a result of a few clubs having ‘eyes bigger than their bellies’ in previous cup matches at the national stadium (yes, you Hibs) leaving empty seats and lost revenue for the SPFL.
St Mirren Season ticket holders are being allowed to buy up to TWENTY TICKETS each, causing a few folk to think that the Paisley club had misunderstood the Twenty’s Plenty ticket campaign, which seems to have increased in price like everything else these days.

If the Saints sell out their initial allocation more sections of the West Stand at Hampden (theRangers end) which incidentally is suspiciously bigger than the East Stand, will be allocated to St Mirren to continue their sales process.
Celtic meanwhile have decided to allow this to play out to see how many tickets our ticket office will have to available to distribute to supporters, with everyone on the HCTS likely to receive one if St Mirren don’t completely sell out the West Stand, which probably will be the outcome.

However you can’t blame the Buddies for attempting to maximise their support at the Final although their cunning plan to release up twenty tickets to each season ticket holder (they have around 1k season ticket holders apparently) has caused some concerns that ticket touting will result with many of the tickets ending up in Celtic hands.
So via the official St Mirren website a reminder was issued on the unauthorised resale or transfer of tickets. Here’s what the club pointed out to their supporters:
We would like to remind all supporters that the unauthorised resale or transfer of tickets including through third-party websites or resale platforms is strictly prohibited under the terms and conditions of your season ticket.
Any tickets found to be listed or sold via these channels will be immediately cancelled, and the responsible season ticket holder will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, which may include suspension or withdrawal of their season ticket without refund and all tickets purchased for the Premier Sports Cup Final.
These measures are in place to protect our supporters and ensure that match tickets remain in the hands of genuine fans. Attempts to profit from resale not only undermine the integrity of our Premier Sports Cup Final ticket sale process, but also risk allowing opposition supporters access to home areas of the stadium, something we take extremely seriously.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping maintain a safe and fair environment for all supporters.

Here’s where Celtic FC is at regarding distribution of Premier Sports Cup Final tickets to Celtic supporters:
Celtic will compete once again for the Premier Sports League Cup at Hampden on Sunday, 14 December . Having defeated Falkirk, Partick Thistle and (the)Rangers on our journey, St Mirren will be the final test for the Bhoys as we look to retain the trophy.
Tickets for this fixture will go on sale week commencing 24 November, after we receive final confirmation of our ticket allocation. This will help us ensure families and clubs are seated together when buying tickets, as well as reducing the number of ballots.
As usual, the first phase of the sale will be made available to supporters on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme and we hope to accommodate as many of these supporters as possible during this initial phase. Tickets will be available to buy online only and distributed through the Hampden Park App.
Further details will be released in due course.
