St. Tönis tie on a Friday evening

Eintracht begin their 2026/27 DFB Cup campaign in Krefeld on 21 August.

The German Football Association (DFB) has confirmed the dates and kick-off times of all 32 first-round ties of the 2026/27 DFB Cup. Eintracht’s first competitive game of the new season – against SC St. Tönis 1911/20 – will take place at 18:00 CEST on Friday 21 August.

Tie to be played at Grotenburg-Stadion

The cup tie against the fifth-tier outfit from the town of Tönisvorst, North Rhine-Westphalia, will be held at the Grotenburg-Stadion in Krefeld – a former Bundesliga venue and current home of KFC Uerdingen 05.
