According to Sacha Tavolieri, Standard Liege’s head coach Ivan Leko has made the signing of Dylan Bronn a priority ahead of the 2024/2025 Pro League season. Tavolieri is reporting that the 29-year-old Tunisian defender is currently working on a payment to close out his deal with Italian side Salernitana. Once that has been completed, it is expected that he will join up with Standard.

The Belgian side are in desperate need of players with experience ahead of the upcoming season. They are operating on a tight budget and are looking to find value in the pool of free agents available. Bronn would certainly add experience to the defensive players at Leko’s disposal. The player has experience of Belgian football, having played 77 games for Gent. Since leaving the Buffaloes during the 2019 summer transfer window, he has played for FC Metz, Salernitana and most recently a brief loan spell with Servette in the Swiss league.

Bronn has also been capped multiple times for Tunisia, appearing at AFCONs and World Cups.
