Josh Campbell struck in the third minute with a close range header to put Hibernian on course for a 3-1 win at Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership.
He attacked Jordan Obita's cross from a corner to guide it in from very close range, setting the tone for Hibs' fast start. The midfielder kept finding pockets around the six yard box as the visitors pressed high.
He then doubled the advantage with another header from Martin Boyle's delivery (20.), timing his run to the back post to punish The Bairns again. Booked for a foul as the tempo rose (61.), he was withdrawn soon after (64.).
Campbell finished with two shots on target, both scored, and added six aerial duels won and four clearances, underlining an all action shift that helped the Hibees control the first half. He also won possession six times, repeatedly turning Hibs' early crosses into chances.
Because Hibs' wing backs and wide men supplied early balls into the area, he could attack the near and far posts, unsettling Falkirk's defence and tilting the game towards the visitors before the interval.
Hibs visit Rangers next. The Bairns go to Hearts before hosting Rangers.
