Sam Amo-Ameyaw opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a low left-footed finish, but Toulouse beat Strasbourg 2-1 at the Stade de la Meinau.

Amo-Ameyaw burst onto a loose ball after a corner and swept home, the move sparked by Ismaël Doukouré's touch. From there he kept asking for it between the lines, repeatedly carrying Le Racing up the right.

He nearly doubled the lead in the first minute of first half stoppage time, forcing Guillaume Restes into a low save from a tight angle. After the restart he continued to knit attacks, then teed up Julio Enciso for a blocked effort (73.).

The winger finished with three attempts, two on target, and won four fouls, while regaining possession seven times. Those numbers underlined his blend of end product and graft, keeping Toulouse's back line occupied even as the game tilted.

Because Le Racing's wide spacing let him isolate defenders one-on-one, Amo-Ameyaw's direct running drew contact and carved out set-piece pressure, ensuring Strasbourg controlled key phases down his flank.

Le Racing host Rayo Vallecano in the UEFA Conference League next, while Toulouse welcome Lyon in Ligue 1.
