Daan Reiziger set the tone in the 11th minute with a reflex save, then produced 10 stops as Telstar drew 1-1 at Go Ahead Eagles.
The goalkeeper first palmed away Joris Kramer's close-range header, then tipped Jaden Slory's rising effort over (18.). Soon after, he got down smartly to deny Jakob Breum's header towards the bottom corner (20.).
After the restart, Reiziger parried Thibo Baeten's low strike and turned it behind for a corner (54.). He stayed sharp late on too, blocking Oskar Sivertsen from the right side of the box (81.) and dealing with further pressure as the hosts pushed.
His biggest late intervention came in the seventh minute of second half stoppage time, smothering Stefán Sigurðarson from point-blank range. He finished with 10 saves from 11 on-target attempts faced, plus 52 touches and 35 passes that helped Telstar reset under pressure.
Faced with a barrage from the Supereagles, including 13 corners and 41 crosses, Reiziger stayed composed, punching clear when needed and repeatedly positioning himself to claim second balls.
Telstar, 16th in the Eredivisie, host FC Twente next. The Supereagles welcome Heerenveen.
