Tairyk Arconte struck in the 18th minute with a close-range finish as Millwall beat Norwich City 3-0 at the Den. The forward's brace settled a feisty Championship meeting.

Arconte opened the scoring from very close range, guiding a right-footed effort into the bottom left. He then kept the pressure on the Canaries, winning a free kick on the left (36.). Moments later, he drew another in the attacking half (38.).

After the restart he doubled the lead, steering in from the centre after Jake Cooper's headed pass from a set piece (58.). That second goal gave the Lions full control.

He finished with two goals from two shots on target, four fouls won and five ball recoveries, repeatedly carrying the ball into the box and forcing Canaries defenders to retreat. His direct running down the left channel consistently earned territory and set pieces, ensuring the Lions played the game in the areas they wanted.
