Moussa Soumano changed it in the 61st minute with a close-range header, launching NAC Breda's comeback in a 3-3 draw at AZ. The strike turned momentum after the visitors had fallen two behind.
Meeting Cherrion Valerius' cross, Soumano timed his movement to glance in from inside the six-yard box (61.). The finish put NAC on the front foot and unsettled AZ's defence.
Moments later, he combined again in the final third, laying the ball for Rio Hillen to shoot just over (63.). He then levelled the tie with a precise right-footer from outside the box into the bottom right corner after Fredrik Jensen found him (71.).
Soumano's end product matched his threat. He finished with two goals from five attempts, all on target, plus one key pass and six ball recoveries. The blend of penalty-area presence and confident shooting from range kept AZ pinned back at crucial phases.
Because NAC found delivery from wide through Valerius and a vertical pass from Jensen into feet, Soumano repeatedly received in dangerous zones. His movement between centre-backs and quick releases sustained pressure and tilted the game back towards NAC.
NAC Breda remain 17th in the Eredivisie standings. AZ finish the campaign in seventh.
