Arthur Okonkwo kept Charlton Athletic level in the 40th minute with a reflex save to secure a 0-0 draw against Queens Park Rangers.

Earlier, the goalkeeper's quick release sent Miles Leaburn racing away for a blocked attempt in the third minute, a sign of his willingness to turn defence into attack.

His most telling moment came when he denied Rumarn Burrell's header from close range (40.), springing centrally to smother the danger and reset Charlton.

After the restart he was sharp again, parrying Paul Smyth's left footed effort from the box (62.). He finished with two saves, completed 17 of 28 passes and even produced a key pass, underpinning Charlton's control in tight moments.

With Queens Park Rangers piling on 39 crosses and 12 corners, his positioning and handling steadied the back line and ensured Charlton rode out the pressure phases.
