A Wolves supporter was left starstruck after unexpectedly encountering the squad on a train to London.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Kit Richardson, originally from Wolverhampton and now based in London, spotted the players on the 2.45pm Avanti West Coast service to London Euston while travelling back to the capital.

“The whole Wolves team was on our train back to London - I was so starstruck! They’re heading to the West Ham game.”

She also posed for a photo with Wolves forward Raúl Jiménez, and intended to take more pictures on arrival.

Wolverhampton Wanderers play West Ham at London Stadium at 7.45pm on 1 September.
