Saint-Étienne swept past Pau 3-0 on Saturday night, moving provisionally back to the top of Ligue 2.

According to Le Progres, the visitors were sparked by flashes from Boakye, Stassin and Larsonneur, with control in midfield underpinning the result.

Stassin ended a five-month drought with an early opener in the third minute, tucking away his first chance as team-mates shared the relief.

He doubled up in the 64th minute with a composed right-foot finish after smart work from Boakye, celebrating this time with the bench.

Beyond the brace, the 21-year-old delivered a tidy, assured display.
