Inter Milan saw off Udinese 1-0 on Saturday to stay at the top of the Serie A table, three points clear of second-placed AC Milan.
According to FCInter1908, Inter’s defensive solidity has been off the charts in Serie A this season.
Despite a relatively slow start to the season, Cristian Chivu has steadied the ship, guiding the Nerazzurri to the top of the standings.
As the only team in Italy’s top flight to score at least 40 goals this term, Chivu’s men are among Europe’s fiercest attacking sides.
However, they’ve been equally impressive at the back.

With just 12 goals conceded, Roma boast the best defensive record in Serie A, letting in four fewer goals than Como and Milan.
Meanwhile, Inter have capitulated 17 times in the league this season.
Yet, Chivu’s men have conceded just four goals in nine top-flight outings since losing the Milan derby in November.
Furthermore, they kept six clean sheets during that stretch.
Overall, Inter have managed a league-high 11 shutouts this season, more than any other side.
