Stats shows how Milan’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek is reaching new heights | OneFootball

Serie A giants Milan signed Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the summer transfer window and the Englishman has been impressive since joining.

Loftus-Cheek scored for the Rossoneri yesterday in their Europa League Round of 16 second leg win over Slavia, who they beat 7-3 on aggregate and cruised to the next round of the competition. Loftus-Cheek had also scored in the first leg at the San Siro, finding the back of the net on the cusp of half-time.

The Englishman has made four appearances in the Europa League, scoring four times. As per OptaPaolo, Loftus-Cheek is the first Milan midfielder since Kaka in the 2006/07 season to have scored four or more goals in a European competition, with the Brazilian having scored ten times back then.

It shows how well he has done for the Rossoneri since joining and not just that, Loftus-Cheek also did well in the Champions League and his performance against Paris Saint-Germain gained praise. In Serie A, he has scored five goals and has two assists to his name.
