The president of the Deliberative Council of Corinthians, Romeu Tuma Júnior, defined this Tuesday the topics for each of the ten public hearings dedicated to the debate on the club’s statute reform.

The sessions will be held at the theater of Parque São Jorge and attendance by the entire CD board will not be mandatory. Members, directors, specialists, leaders of organized fan groups, and external guests may attend the meetings to enrich the debate.

Extra session

In addition to the aforementioned dates, there is a pre-scheduled extra session set for February 9, 2026 to discuss any pending topics, if necessary.

Next steps

According to the statement released by the Deliberative Council, after the discussions, the Corinthians Statute Reform Committee will have until February 11 to deliver the final text to the CD. Subsequently, on the 13th of the same month, the full document will be made available on the club’s official website so that all councilors can study the proposals.

There is still no established date for the Council to vote on the new statute. However, according to Romeu Tuma Júnior, this meeting should be held by the end of February 2026. If approved, the project will be submitted to the members in a General Assembly, scheduled for March of next year.

It has also been decided among the councilors that the new statute will already be valid for the next Corinthians elections, at the end of next year. The right to vote for Fiel Torcedor members would come into effect no later than the 2030 election.

After last Monday’s meeting, Tuma and other councilors expressed optimism that the right to vote for fan-members will be approved by the Council.
