Angers SCO have announced late last night that they have parted ways with head coach Alexandre Dujeux. The latter opted to leave after three remarkable seasons with Les Scoïstes. Operating on a shoestring budget, Dujeux managed to secure Angers’ Ligue 1 status twice after achieving promotion in 2024. The 50-year-old is reportedly a target for OGC Nice.

To replace Dujeux, Angers have identified Stéphane Gilli, according to Ouest-FranceThe former Paris FC head coach is said to be the frontrunner for the job. Gilli, who led Paris FC back to Ligue 1 a year ago, was dismissed midway into the season to be replaced by Antoine Kombouaré. The 52-year-old is also in the frame for the Lorient job, after Olivier Pantaloni’s exit.
