Wolves manager Steve Davis has revealed that full-back Jonny will be made watch replays of his decisive errors in Sunday’s 4-0 home defeat to Leicester.
The Spaniard conceded the free-kick that led to Youri Tielemans’ opener for the Foxes, with the former Celta Vigo man also guilty of a poor defensive header from the set piece.
He also allowed Harvey Barnes to get past him far too easily for the visitors’ second.
Davis, who has been put in charge of the Old Gold until the end of the season following the dismissal of Bruno Lage, explained how they will deal with the defender in the wake of such a poor performance.
“What we do with those types of things is go through it with the player,” Davis said, per Birmingham Live.
“We pick the player out one to one and show him the clip of that incident. In all respects they are always honest about the mistakes they make. They face up to it. They don’t deny it because the evidence is there in the clip.
“It’s then about learning, getting better and not making the same mistakes. That’s the important thing.”
The defeat was Wolves’ fourth in their last five games, and they are now only above basement side Nottingham Forest on goal difference.
