Will Keane nodded in during the sixth minute of second half stoppage time to earn Preston North End a 1-1 draw with Norwich City.

Introduced late, Keane immediately provided a focal point, linking play and attacking the near post as Preston pushed for a leveller. He combined tidy hold-up work with penalty box movement that unsettled the Canaries.

Deep into added time, he peeled to the back post and glanced home Brad Potts' cross from close range, a poacher's finish that capped the pressure and denied Norwich.

The forward ended with one attempt, one on target, three touches in the box and a recovery in the attacking third, an efficient cameo that flipped the tie's momentum. He also completed three passes in the final third, keeping attacks alive until the break came.

Because Preston switched the play wide, Potts delivered from the right and Keane's late run exploited space as the Canaries dropped to protect their lead.

Preston visit Stoke City next in the Championship. The Canaries host Charlton Athletic.
