Strasbourg pursue Örgryte’s Michael Parker | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace are reportedly tracking Örgryte IS’s Michael Parker (21), according to information from journalist Sacha Tavolieri. RSC Anderlecht and Udinese are also said to be interested in securing the Englishman’s services.

Having played for Huddersfield, Burnley and West Bromwich Albion, the young defender decided last February to leave United Kingdom to launch his professional career. And it is in Sweden that he chose to settle.

Having quickly become a key player for Sällskapet, Parker has made 11 starts in 13 appearances across all competitions since the start of the season. Under contract with OIS until December 2028, with an option for a further year, the London-born player is valued at €2m by the club’s management. A figure that his suitors would like to negotiate down to €1.5m.

Strasbourg, who are expected to appoint their new manager shortly following Gary O’Neil’s departure for Ipswich Town, could therefore soon make a move.
