Strasbourg have completed the season-long loan signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Đorđe Petrović.
The French club have again benefited from the multi-club ownership model that sees both them and Chelsea under the control of parent company, BlueCo, to seal a deal for the 24-year-old.
This summer has already seen Andrey Santos and Caleb Wiley swap Stamford Bridge for Stade de la Meinau on a temporary basis, while Diego Moreira, who played just once for the Blues, joined in a permanent deal.
Petrović only joined Chelsea 12 months ago from New England Revolution, and made 31 appearances across all competitions last season.
However, he has found himself out of favour since Enzo Maresca’s arrival as the club’s new manager, and follows fellow keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in leaving the club.
Strasbourg finished 13th in Ligue 1 last season, but have started this season with four points from two games under new boss Liam Rosenior.
