RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Rayane Messi (18) is all set to join Saudi Pro League club NEOM SC, according to a report from L’Équipe.

Whilst the Saudi Pro League continue to recruit big names, the Gulf State also have a particular attention on the French market and on bringing the most promising prospects to play in the league. Last summer, it was the likes of Nathan Zeze, Saimon Bouabré, and Valentin Atangana who made the move.

Messi set for Saudi Arabia loan

Already this summer, Mohamed Kader Meité has joined Al-Hilal from Stade Rennais, and now L’Équipe understands that the France youth international will be joined in Saudi Arabia by Messi. The Strasbourg forward has spent this season on loan at Pau in Ligue 2, where he has scored twice in 14 matches.

However, he is now set to join Neom on a loan deal that will include the option to make the move permanent.
