VfB Stuttgart are monitoring Wolverhampton Wanderers and Czech Republic centre-back Ladislav Krejčí, according to Bild.
Krejčí’s future at Wolves is uncertain following the English club's relegation from the Premier League last season.
Although Wolves may be unable to recoup the full €30 million they paid to sign the 27-year-old from Girona, he will not be offloaded on the cheap.
According to Bild, a move to Stuttgart would only be realistic if the Bundesliga side sell a player beforehand to generate funds for the transfer.
Jeff Chabot, who has been linked with a move to Italy, and Ramon Hendriks, who has put contract talks with the Bundesliga outfit on hold, are mentioned as potential candidates to leave.
Should either of them depart, Krejčí would reportedly be Stuttgart’s top target to replace them.
The defender captained Czech Republic at the World Cup, featuring in all three group-stage matches and scoring in their opening game against South Korea.
