Nigerian international Paul Onuachu is emerging as one of the standout sensations in the Turkish league this season. The Trabzonspor striker sits atop the scoring chart with 16 goals, boasting an impressive average of 0.84 goals per match.

The 31-year-old netted his 16th league goal on Saturday night, despite his team's 2-3 loss to Fenerbahçe in the 22nd round of the Süper Lig.

With sixteen matchdays remaining, Onuachu continues to prove himself as a formidable frontman, thanks to his physical power, aerial dominance, and razor-sharp positioning inside the box.

The Nigerian presence doesn't end with Onuachu. His compatriot Victor Osimhen, now wearing Galatasaray's colors, has also found the net nine times this season.

Guinean forward Mohamed Bayo, playing for Gaziantep, has also scored nine goals, further highlighting the growing influence of the African trio in the race for the league's top scorer.
